So last week was our school trip to the Southwest, where the weather was beyond perfect all week long. We were sunburned by the end!
Grand Canyon
Bryce Canyon
Zion National Park
Monument Valley
and the Navaho Experience
Did I get to knit anything on that trip? Is the Pope Jewish? (I mean, is the Pope Catholic!) I've been working on a swatch of stitches that my sister can choose from for a spiffy scarf to go with the formal wool black coat she got. Hope she likes at least one of these!

Oooh oooh! I've BEEN to those places!! We lived in Boulder CO (1993-95), and did a bit of travelling about. It is just astonishing scenery!

Such fabulous photo's, and such great sites. We have some really inspiring places here too, such as Uluru (Ayer's Rock), Standley Chasm, The Kimberleys plus others. It's wonderful to be able to go to these kind of places, really sort of spiritual.
Wow. That's amazing. I'll have to make it to that part of the country someday.
