Riffing off someone's excellent observations . . .

Some thoughtful soul said what I needed to hear. My blog is a hobby, not a job. I apologize (or feel apologetic) when I don't get around to blogging, but the reality is that life offers more free time at some times than others. Mostly I just feel sad because (obviously) there are no visitors, since they have been negatively reinforced by coming to what they have already seen, with no new entries. It's nice to be liked!

BUT since life is not a beauty contest (. . . or is it? why is everyone paying more attention to Brittney Spears than to me?) I heartily espouse Tartx's little crusade to get us all to stop apologizing!

Not that this is the cause of my sometimes infrequent blog posts, but . . .

Visit me on ravelry! keramoso is my ID.

I love it! I blog when I have something worthwhile to share with the knitting community. I like to keep things sorta knitting related, and no one wants to read post after post of, "I'm so busy!"

Yay for you for speaking out.

It doesn't matter how infrequently you blog, your real friends/readers will continue to come back. It's hard to blog when you don't have anything in particular to talk about, so don't fret.
If you want to be talked about as much as Britney spears, I suggest you neglect your kids, shave your head, and generally act like a f*%# wit. Then again, don't, I like you the way you are.

I've been on the Blogging Without Obligation bandwagon for a while now - it's a good one. Honestly, like we need more stress in our lives? This is supposed to be fun :)

There needs to be a 'Commenting without Obligation' button too!! Hmmm, maybe I should design something...
